Holly was engaged three times. Her first wedding was with actor Danny Quinn. Both married in 1992, and divorced two years later in 1993. She first met Jim Carrey in 1994 during the auditions for Ace Ventura Pet Detective. The part was not offered to her, but they formed a bond as they were making Dumb and Dumber. They were married in 1996. Alaina Suddeth is child of Kristy Suddeth (Rossville, Georgia) and J. J. Suddeth. Her father works as an engineer for process in Chattanooga, Tennessee.Alaina started to perform at age 3. She performed her first public singing in a choir for children, and then at a karaoke venue during a family holiday. She performed at churches, in restaurants, during family holidays, and wherever she could within a 30 mile radius. Alaina aged of 8, was the winner of the Southern Stars Pageant Talent Competition. Next year, she performed on the Kids' talent stage during Chattanooga Riverbend Festival. Performances on the stage were on for a while until she turned 12 and she was one of the winners in a contest that allowed her to perform on the big stage. At the age of ten she traveled across the country to Orlando, Florida for the American Model and Talent Competition. She was the winner of the competition over 1,500 competitors. Alaina was a member of the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's children's chorus. Alaina's first trip to Nashville was at the age of 12. She frequented Tootsie's bar and numerous other bars on Broadway. In 2009, Alaina was the first winner of the WinniSTAR Youth Talent Contest in the Lake Winnepesaukah amusement park.In addition the stage, Alaina wrote several songs such as Leaving and The Set Me Free. Alaina the cousin of Holly Witherow who has a cancerous brain tumor, inspired her to start singing. Alaina was a Pizza Hut employee prior to joining Idol. She is a graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe Senior High School, which is located in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
